Problem Statement
Tim Ayles wanted to run a shadow test on a niche audience to know their interest in the app which just entered development stage.
Solution
A landing page showcasing the promises of the product and early stage users experience, asking people to join the waitlist before they pay and became a user.
Goals
The landing page needs to on point and should talk directly to the user himself or herself.
High conversion rate while maintaining the upcoming brand's essence.
Must be delivered in 1 week to launch and start shadow testing.
Impact
The shadow testing run for 2 months straight with a paid post on instagram and other platforms and here are the results.
7-13% conversion was seen by the user who fall on the landing page.
Average time spent on the website was +90 seconds (almost 2minutes)
Lastly, the shadow testing delivered a indisputable decision that let the founders make the right decisions.
